
HubScore.com recently announced the “Worst Airports to Fly Out Of” in the United States. Unfortunately, three of the top 10 of the “Worst Airports to Fly Out Of” were located in my home state of Florida. So far in 2023, I have passed through over forty different airports around the world, and I must say that I am in agreement with several of HubScores.com’s rankings. Below, I have listed the TOP 10 of the “Worst Airports to Fly Out Of” according to HubScore.com:
#1 Newark Liberty International Airport – Newark, New Jersey

- Average Flight Delay Time: 33.4 minutes
- Average Security Wait Time: 13.9 minutes

#2 Orlando International Airport – Orlando, Florida – I could not agree with HubScore.com more on this ranking for Orlando International Airport. In 2023, I passed through Orlando International Airport at least a half dozen times, and every visit was truly the same, terrible experience. The TSA lines are ridiculously long and you may have to go through security lines for a second time if you are landing in Orlando, even if you are traveling on a domestic flight.
