New Routes and Expanded Services
Delta is set to roll out several new routes and increase service to popular destinations, further enhancing its presence in the European market. Highlights include:

- New Service to Catania, Sicily: Starting May 22, 2025, Delta will launch direct service from New York – JFK to Catania, making it the first U.S. airline to offer nonstop flights to this picturesque Sicilian city. The 9-hour, 10-minute journey will be aboard Delta’s Boeing 767, offering passengers a range of travel classes. Round-trip prices start at $1,826.00 for Basic Economy, $2,086.00 for Main Cabin, $3,186.00 for Comfort +, $5,330.00 for Premium Select, and $7,376.00 for Delta One. With its rich cultural heritage and stunning coastal views, Catania is an exciting new destination for travelers seeking the authentic charm of Sicily.
- Increased Flights to Italy: With a 10% increase in seat availability, Delta is expanding service to Italy’s major cities, including Milan, Naples, and Rome. Expect new four-times-weekly flights from Atlanta to Naples, as well as Minneapolis-St. Paul to Rome. These routes are in addition to the airline’s existing JFK-Naples route.
- Expanded Service to Barcelona and Dublin: Delta will introduce three weekly flights from Boston to Barcelona and four weekly flights from Detroit to Dublin, complementing its existing services from Atlanta and New York.
- New Service to Brussels: Delta is also enhancing its network to Belgium with three-times-weekly service from Atlanta to Brussels, further cementing its position as a leader in trans-Atlantic travel.

A Commitment to Elevated Comfort
In addition to expanded routes, Delta is upgrading the passenger experience. The airline will operate most of these flights on its cutting-edge A330-900 and A350-900 aircraft, which will feature Delta One suites, Delta Premium Select, and complimentary International Wi-Fi.
Delta’s new Delta One Lounges at key airports, including JFK and LAX, along with a partnership with Italian fashion house, Missoni, ensures that passengers flying in Delta One enjoy unparalleled comfort.
